Red-winged starling (Onychognathus morio). Red-winged starling (Onychognathus morio) perched on a rock. This starling has rich red/brown coloured primary feathers on its wings. It inhabits rocky outcrops,gorges and upland areas in parts of Africa south of the Sahara. Its diet comprises fruits,insects and occasionally nectar.
