| Sperm whale tissue analysis. Tissue sample from a dead sperm whale (Physeter macrocephalus) embedded in paraffin wax being sliced by a microtome. The thin slices allow scientists to study the specimen under a microscope. The tissue sample came from a dead male sperm whale that was found on Henne Strand,Jutland,Denmark.
