A female Gelada baboon (Theropithecus gelada) grooming a male at dawn. Geladas often sun themselves at dawn following a night on the ledges of the cliff face. Geladas sleep on the cliff face in order to protect themselves from nocturnal predators like leopards and hyenas. The Gelada is,following humans, the most vocal of primates.
