Graf Zeppelin polar flight chart. Map showing the route taken between 24th and 31st July 1931 by the German airship LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin. During the flight over the Arctic the airship meet with the Russian icebreaker Malygin at Hooker Island (upper left). The meeting was in part to help fund the expedition,as thousands of items of souvenir mail were exchanged and then sold to collectors.
