Ovarian tumour. Light micrograph of a section through an ovary showing a serous cystadenoma. This is a common benign (non-cancerous) ovarian tumour. This specimen shows numerous papillary projections into the cystic (fluid-filled) space (beige). This type of tumour is most common between the ages of 40 and 50.
