Namaqua chameleon (Chamaeleo namaquensis) hunting prey with its unfurled tongue. This tongue extends out extremely rapidly in just a few fractions of a second. Here,it is about to catch an Onymacris plana beetle. This chameleon is found in the Namib Desert of Namibia and Angola,where it feeds on insects,small lizards and snakes.
