Fish of the family Cyprinidae Genus 'Barilius',possibly 'Barilius tileo' Original inscriptions: 'Opsarius. Girth extreme 7 1/2 inch. Back- slaty blue metallic. Vertically olivaceous- this part is abrupt. Sides yellowish fuscous - linged with Salmon. Spots faint at first,blue. All the scales have dusky margins. Dorsal 7 caudal F. dashed with dusky. Rest,fleshy yellow. Head linged with Gold. Eye prominent. Stomach very large,fleshy occupying chief part of abo. cavity. intestine short turn behind stomach. Canal 1/5 shorter than body.
