ArcelorMittal Orbit. This 115-metre tall steel structure is a sculpture and an observation tower. It was the winning design in a competition for a structure to be built for the London 2012 Olympics. Construction started in November 2010 and it was opened in May 2012. The design was by British sculptor Anish Kapoor.
