After having journeyed successfully through the underworld,Ani finally arrives at the kingdom of Osiris where he will spend his afterlife in the Sekhet Hetepu,“Fields of Peace†or the Elysian Fields of the Egyptians. First,Thoth introduces Ani and his Shade into the presence of a triad of gods. The four divisions,each surrounded by water,are known as the “Islands of the Blestâ€.
