| Harbour construction. Diver working on the construction of the harbour in Haifa on the Mediterranean coast. He is wearing a weighted diving suit and helmet,with air supplied to the helmet from the surface through a tube. Self-contained breathing apparatus (scuba equipment or aqualung) wasn't invented until the 1940s. The construction of this harbour took place from 1922 to 1933.
