Male orange tip butterfly (Anthocharis cardamines) at rest on a flower. This insect has a wingspan of around 4 centimetres. The adult appears in the spring from March to May. It is seen in the daytime and inhabits fields and meadows from the lowlands to mid-mountain regions.
