Australian aboriginal cure. 18th-century artwork titled 'Curing the Headache'. It shows a female Australian aborigine from the New South Wales area,healing a patient who has a headache. A piece of string wrapped around the patient's head is being drawn between her teeth. The blood pooling on the rock in front of her is from her gums,but is said to be from the patient's head.
