Mistletoe (Dendrophthoe pentadra). This botanical illustration dates from 1776 and is by the British illustrator John Frederick Miller (1759-1796). Miller worked from the sketches made by the British artist Sydney Parkinson (c.1745-1771) who travelled on Captain James Cook's first expedition.
