| Pictograph of walking human figures and cattle on a cave wall in the Acacus region of Libya,approximately 9,000 years old. The scene is typical of many such images across the Sahara,where the husbandry of cattle reflected the savannah environment during the last wet phase in the Sahara's climate. Most of the human figures lack any facial features and appear to have a mythological background and themes. The painting includes two or more styles,showing different degrees of skills perhaps meaning that the painting was the work of different generations,or by different artists from the same generation.
