Soursop seeds. 16th century woodcut illustration of the seeds of the 'guanabanus' or soursop (Guanabanus muricatus (L.)) strung into a necklace. The soursop is a broadleaf evergreen tree native to tropical regions. In many areas it is grown as a commercial crop,having a white pulp that is said to be a combination of strawberry,pineapple with a citrus edge. The large dark seeds are inedible.
