Tourists brave record-low temperature on pathway along the Niagara River above the American Falls in western New York, USA, The 30-metre-high falls is one of three falls collectively known as Niagara Falls. The falls were created during the Wisconsin glaciation about 10, 000 years ago by forces that also created the Great Lakes and the Niagara River.
