Gizmo inspection robot. This hexapodal robot operates with servo motors and can carry a payload of two kilograms. It is compact enough to enter hard-to-access areas such as underfloor or roof cavities. It can also be used to search in collapsed buildings. It runs on a Raspberry Pi computer, which means it can also be used for robotics education. This robot was developed and announced in 2018 by the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Group at the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technology Robotics. | |
