The Lunar Module chases the tiny, distant silver Command and Service Modules in lunar orbit. The spectacular lunar scenery below shows a series of mountains, valleys and canyons, one of which is the Taurus Littrow Valley, where they have just lifted off from. A crew member tilts the camera down as they pass the valley to give a better view of it. Long shadows accentuate the ruggedness of the terrain and the spectacular nature of their landing site.
