Jim Lovell floats inside the LEM near a window, well illuminated, in front of the instrument panel - slowly tumbling a music cassette player in front of him. He wears a lot of layers and his snoopy cap to keep warm but still rubs his hands together against the cold. The camera pans round to reveal another astronaut (possibly John Swigert) floating in the back of the LEM - wedged near some stowage bags to try and sleep. A pool of light illuminates his shoulder. Above him is the entrance to the connecting tunnel. His watch is visible on his right wrist. The shot pans back towards Jim, still at the window. Date recorded: 1970-04-11 to 1970-04-17 | |
