He puts it down and spins it in the weightless conditions. He adjusting the speed until it spins until it tumbles very fast. The view moves to Jim Lovell at the back of the Command Module beyond the sextant and navigation instruments getting something out of a stowage box. He has a torch which illuminates the scene. He retrieves a carbon dioxide filter and tries to float the torch pointing at it so he can see what he needs to do to adjust it. Frank Borman also points a torch at the action. The camera pulls back further to reveal Frank again. Jim floats back into his couch and then rolls over and floats back towards the sextant to take a look through the telescope as he talks to the others. Date recorded: 1968-12-21 to 1968-12-21 | |
