Extreme close up of four of female Pantropical jumping spider's (Plexippus paykulli) eyes. The other four are located on the top of its head. These spiders are native to Southeast Asia are now found in many other parts of the world, including the southeastern US. They can reach a length of 12 mm. The jumping abilities of these spiders help make them excellent hunters. Their spiky hair make them arachnid fashion setters. | |
