Sandstone cliffs tower a hundred meters above Tsegi Canyon in northern Arizona. This canyon was formed millions of years ago as a result of uplift and stream cutting, and provides a classic example of the effects of water erosion. Today the canyon is the home of many Navajo families and the location of numerous Anasazi ruins, including Keet Seel and Betatakin. | |
