Snake Rivers passes in front of the Teton Range of the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming. The Tetons are fault block mountains created when one side of a fault rose high above the other due to uplifting and the other side fell. The Tetons are the youngest range of the Rockies and were formed between six and nine million years ago. They reach a height of 4, 198 meters. | |
