Mexican fireleg, or redleg, tarantula (Brachypelma boehmei), crawls across rock. These colorful tarantulas are, as their common name suggests, native to Mexico. Females are larger than males and can have a legspan reaching 15 cm across. They've been known to live as long 20 years. | |
