Orange striped triggerfish (Balistapus undulatus) tending its nest in a tuft of algae. While most triggerfish have nests in the substrate, a few use tufts of spirogyra like filamentous algae to lay their eggs in. Triggerfish have the fastest developing eggs, less than a day from spawning to dispersal. Filmed in Tulamben, Bali. | |
