Common dwarf mongooose (Helogale parvula). Dwarf moongooses have a smooth, glossy coat, generally speckled brown to black. They inhabit primarily dry grassland, open forests and bushland. They consume small rodents, reptiles, young birds, insects and small vertebrates. Photographed in Kenya. | |
