| Badger (Meles meles) being sprayed with blue paint after being vaccinated against tuberculosis (TB). Badgers are able to spread bovine TB to healthy cattle, causing outbreaks in cattle populations. Vaccinating badgers against TB helps to reduce this spread. This badger has been captured as part of a Welsh Government badger vaccination programme. The blue paint is used to distinguish the vaccination status of the badgers. Photographed in Wales, UK. | |
