Fluorescein angiogram of the retina of the right eye of a 48 year old male patient with central serous retinopathy (CSR). The retina is the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. CSR is the accumulation of fluid underneath the central area of the retina, known as the macula. It can lead to blurring and distortion of vision. The causes of CSR is not known. Most cases resolve by themselves after a few months.
