Human adult male mummy, dating from the 18th to 19th centuries at the Museum of the Mummies of Quinto, Aragon, Spain. The mummy approximately measures 166 centimetres tall. He was buried wearing a habit made of brown wool cloth, belonging to the Order of Saint Francis. The custom of dressing the deceased with this type of clothing was, and still is, something common in Spain, where the deceased laymen, dressed in this way, are taken to their final resting place. Due to the body morphology, we are facing a quite corpulent individual. Regarding the documentation consulted, nothing related to this person could be found. | |
