Part of the lateral flow test for Covid-19 where the dropper tip at the end of the extraction buffer tube is about to place drops of the solution in the specimen well (S) of the test cassette. The fabric tip of a swab has been inserted into a liquid, containing an antigen. The extraction buffer tube is gently squeezed to place the correct number of drops of the liquid into the specimen well (S) of the test cassette. If a single line appears at point C the test is negative, if two lines appear, one at point C and another at point T then the test is positive for Covid-19. | |
