Devorgilla Bridge over the River Nith in Dumfries, Scotland, UK. The first bridge here was built around 1270; the current bridge dates in part from the 15th century but has undergone many alterations. It is built in red sandstone with broad semicircular arches and gothic buttresses and is now used only by pedestrians. | |
