Computed tomography (CT) angiogram of the brain of a 57-year-old patient who had with recurrent headaches for two weeks. The scan shows the presence of an upper left hemispheric arteriovenous malformation (AVM), supplied by the branches of the left anterior cerebral artery and the branches of the left middle cerebral artery, associated with a large draining vein to the superior longitudinal sinus. An AVM is an abnormal blood vessel arrangement. | |
