Kinzua Dam on the Allegheny River in Warren, Pennsylvania, USA. The dam was built in the 1960s by the Army Corps of Engineers for flood control and hydroelectricity. The Allegheny Reservoir extends 25 miles behind the dam, flooding lands that had been granted to the Seneca Nation of Indians in a treaty signed by George Washington. The reservoir is called Lake Perfidy by the Seneca. | |
