Radome, or radar dome, at Bochum Observatory, Germany. The 40 metre high dome houses a 20 metre parabolic radar, that has been in use since 1967. The antenna is used to track and receive transmissions from spacecraft, including the Apollo mission spacecraft, and space probes. | |
