Covid-19 lateral flow test kit. This test identifies infection with coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. A sample is taken with a swab from the nose and throat, and mixed with the extraction solution. The mixture is dripped into to the sample well (S) of the cassette. After 30 minutes, if a line appears only at C"" (control), a negative result is indicated. Lines appearing at both the control, and at the test (T), indicate a positive result. SARS-CoV-2 emerged in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 and causes a respiratory infection (Covid-19) that can lead to fatal pneumonia."
