Brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys) feeding on an apple. This fast-breeding insect is a major economic threat to fruit crops, garden vegetables, and ornamentals. It is native to China, Japan and Korea, but was found in both continental Europe and the USA in 1998, and has since spread widely. Its arrival in the UK was confirmed in March 2021. | |
