Astronauts in free fall. NASA astronauts training for the STS-44 mission in free fall conditions. The KC-135 zero-gravity aircraft flew in parabolas, which caused short sessions of zero-gravity. This allowed the astronauts to experience weightlessness before their mission. Photographed 28th May 1991. | |
