Aerial photograph of the world's largest iceberg, A68a on the 12th November 2017. This iceberg split from the Larsen C ice shelf in Antarctica at the end of July 2017. The iceberg split further soon after calving. The main iceberg, named A68a, measures 4, 200 square kilometres. Photographed during NASA's Operation IceBridge, an annual airborne survey of the polar ice. | |
