The Eye-ring Bush Frog (Boana cinerascens) adapts to human modifications of the environment better (in some circumstances) than other species do; however, we encountered this one in the middle of a beautiful primary rainforest stand. Not all individuals have markings...some are solid green. Some individuals have a lot more red to their dorsal pattern. This specimen was photographed in Amazonian Peru in 2017. | |
