| A Sunflower seen in one form of simulated bee vision or insect vision. Since many insects have vision that ranges from the yellow to the ultraviolet part of the spectrum, this image has been adjusted to have the areas of highest reflectivity in the green part of the spectrum. This sunflower image shows the different patterns on the flower petals as perceived by insects that can see well into the ultraviolet region of the spectrum. These special patterns that have evolved to attract insects to the flower are called honey guides.
