Miyata's Treefrog (Dendropsophus miyatai), was named in honor of the late Ken Miyata, one of our most promising herpetologists. Ken co-authored the classic book Tropical Nature with Adrian Forsythe. It is fitting that the tiny frog bearing his name is brightly colored. This species congregates in shrubbery within flooded forest to breed. | |
