A disused water turbine manufactured in 1940 by Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon Ltd. This Francis water turbine is located outside the former Hatch Mill on the River Ock, Godalming, Surrey, UK. The mill was once used for grinding flour and as a grist mill. The turbine replaced an earlier water wheel in about 1940. The mill buildings have since been converted for other uses. | |
