An RX-2 Extravehicular Activity Spacesuit on display in the Apollo/Saturn V Center at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida, USA. The suit was developed by Litton Industries in 1963 as an example of a spacesuit that would provide both greater protection and greater mobility than the standard fabric spacesuits of the time. It was never produced in any numbers, but the concept of the hard suit remains a possibility for future development. | |
