Centre of Milky Way galaxy. Radio image from the Very Large Array (VLA) of jets and ionised gas associated with the supermassive black hole at the centre of the Milky Way galaxy. The Milky Way's galactic centre is around 26, 000 light years from Earth, in the constellation of Sagittarius. These observations were made in the K-band part of the radio spectrum.
