A Kamchatka brown bear (Ursus arctos beringianus), fishes for salmon in Lake Kurilskoye, Kamchatka, Russia. The roe (eggs) are squeezed out of the salmon. In August and September Lake Kurilskoye has abundant spawning salmon which provide a feast for around 500 bears. | |
