Manganese(III) solution. Here 0.01M solution of potassium permanganate(VII) (KMnO4) was added to 0.5M solution of manganese(II) sulfate under acidic conditions (0.8M sulfuric acid, H2SO4). After several minutes the solution turned rose due to formation of Mn3+ ions. | |
