Brown, black and red rice (Oryza sativa). These whole grain rice, have not had the bran (aleurone and pericarp) and germ removed. The colour of brown and red rice is the natural tint of the pericarp. The black rice is coloured all through by its anthocyanin content. These organic rice are grown in the south of France, in the region around the mouth of the River Rhone and the Camargue marshes. | |
