Cassiopeia points the way to several deep-sky delights. The Double Cluster (NGC 869 and NGC 884) are at right center and below them are the Double Nebula (IC 1805 and LBN 667, sometimes called the Heart and Soul Nebulae). NGC 281, the Pac Man Nebula is 1.67 degrees east of Schedar (Alpha Cassiopeiae). NGC 7789, Caroline's Rose, is an open cluster at far right center near the edge of the frame. | |
