Lead (II) sulphate precipitate, 2 of 5. This series shows a progression as lead (II) nitrate is added drop by drop to a test tube containing nickel sulphate. Both solutions are 0.5 M concentration. Lead (II) sulphate precipitate is formed as a result: Pb(NO3)2 + NiSO4 -> PbSO4 + Ni(NO3)2. This is an example of a double displacement reaction. | |
