Strontium sulphate precipitate. Strontium chloride is added to a test tube containing nickel sulphate. Both solutions are 0.5 M concentration. Strontium sulphate precipitate is formed as a result: SrCl2 + NiSO4 -> SrSO4 + NiCl2. This is an example of a double displacement reaction. | |
